Weโ€™re thrilled to introduce our newly refurbished Reformer Pilates studio. Whether youโ€™re a seasoned Pilates enthusiast or a beginner looking to try something new, our expert instructors will guide you through a dynamic and challenging Pilates practice that strengthens, stretches, and tones your entire body. Experience our brand new reformer beds in a serene, spacious studio.

Our classes take place in a fully renovated space designed for comfort and performance.

From 10th March we will offer two class formats to choose from:

Align Reformer Pilates Flow

This class emphasises alignment while still maintaining fluidity in movement. By slowing down the pace, it gives you more time to focus on each posture and engage your muscles with intention. This allows you to tune into your body and ensure that your joints and muscles are working together efficiently, which can help build strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness. Beginner friendly.

 

Power Reformer Pilates Flow

This class is the perfect next step for those who are ready to challenge themselves! Itโ€™s all about intensity and building strength while maintaining that fluidity in movement, and with high energy, it will really get the heart pumping. Itโ€™s great for improving endurance, toning muscles, and developing better body control. Plus, itโ€™s an awesome way to mix things up if youโ€™ve been doing slower-paced Pilates and are looking for a more invigorating challenge. Intermediate friendly.

Tamsin Ash

We are excited to have Tamsin head up the Pilates team at Power Living. After completing over 1000 hours of advanced training in Vinyasa, Yin and philosophy, Tamsin expanded her expertise by becoming a certified Polestar Pilates Mat and Reformer teacher in 2018. Her in-depth knowledge of anatomy, creative sequencing, flow, and trauma-informed teaching ensures that our Reformer Pilates studio is a space where every client can feel empowered, supported and inspired. Tamsinโ€™s classes will offer a balanced, transformative, and fun experience for all levels.

Bettina Simbuerger

Bettina, originally from Munich, Germany, is a certified yoga and Studio Pilates pilates mat and reformer instructor. She discovered and fell into reformer pilates in 2019, loving how strong and good they made her feel. Bettina strongly believes in the magic of movement and that people should always move their bodies in a way that makes them feel good. Her classes are full-body workouts, focusing on form and making it accessible to everyone. She wants her students to leave class feeling like they have had fun, worked hard and are standing a bit taller.

Jess Barnes

Jesse is a qualified physiotherapist with experience at sports teams like the NSW Waratahs and Manly Marlins. She is a certified personal trainer and is an Elixir certified Pilates instructor. Jesse is passionate about outdoor adventures and bringing her athletic background to create strong, functional classes that leave you feeling empowered.

Ellie Ward

Ellie brings a passion for mindful movement to every class, from Vinyasa Yoga to Yin Yoga to Reformer Pilates. Originally from California, she found yoga and Pilates after a back injury ended her career as a Division 1 tennis player. Certified in Mat and Reformer Pilates, as well as Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, she offers classes that encourage flow, balance, and mindfulness in a supportive, down-to-earth environment. Now based in Bondi Beach, Ellie is thrilled to share her journey with the Power Living community.

Layla Dawn

With over a decade of experience as a professional dancer, Layla brings a unique blend of movement expertise to her Pilates classes. Certified in Reformer Pilates, Barre, and Personal Training, she uses her diverse background to create sessions that strengthen and inspire. Laylaโ€™s classes encourage a deep mind-body connection, leaving clients feeling balanced, strong, and energised.

Simon Ngo

Simon Ngo is a leader in fitness and wellness. Recognized for excellence with four consecutive national award nominations, he drives dynamic fitness programs and digital content. Simonโ€™s mentorship extends to aspiring professionals, fostering growth and innovation in the industry. Today, Simon continues to steer the conversations of movement and fitness as preventative health and using his platform to champion mental health and social awareness for the LGBTiQ+ community.

Isabella Hurn

With a full heart, Isabella shares the joy, strength, calm, and freedom that yoga and Pilates have brought to her life. Her journey began with Ashtanga yoga in London in 2012, igniting a passion for movement that continues to shape her teaching. Since 2020, she has taught yoga, Pilates, and Reformer in Sydney, inspiring a love of movement and learning in her students. Deeply dedicated to her practice, she has studied anatomy, functional movement, breathwork, philosophy, Sanskrit, sequencing, and meditation. Isabella is excited to bring her knowledge and enthusiasm to each class, where students can feel both challenged and supported.

Claudia Zappino

Claudia is a dedicated yoga and Pilates instructor with over 15 years of yoga experience and 5+ years of teaching expertise in Vinyasa, Yin, and Mat Pilates. Known for her clear alignment cues, hands-on adjustments, and creative flows, Claudia builds strength, flexibility, and mindfulness in every class. Certified in mat Pilates and expanding into Reformer Pilates, she brings a deep commitment to wellness and a passion for guiding each student to their health goals. Beyond teaching, Claudia balances life with her daughter, Skye, and fiancรฉe, Azar, infusing joy into all she does.

Sienna Melhem

Sienna started taking reformer Pilates classes in 2020 and from the moment she started, absolutely fell in love with the practice. It didnโ€™t take long for her to realise that she wanted to take things further, becoming a certified instructor in 2024. With a strength training background, Sienna bring a unique approach to my teaching, blending classical Pilates with athletic movements. Sienna loves creating dynamic, high-energy classes that challenge the body, improve strength, and enhance overall athletic performance. Her goal is to help students build muscular endurance, core stability, and power while keeping movement fun.

jennica winhammar

Jennica Winhammar

Jennica has a very diverse background in the health and fitness industry as well as in the medical field. From her PhD in Medicine to her black belt in Tae Kwon Do she believes that every day has a purpose and there shouldnโ€™t ever be any regrets in life. Jennicaโ€™s passion for yoga and Pilates started over a decade ago when she had a knee injury. Jennica has witnessed a transformation not only in herself but also in others who have been on this journey with her. Jennica is also a mother to three daughters, a qualified Kinesiologist and a Mind Body practitioner.

Claudia van de Tonnekreek

Claudiaโ€™s journey started in 2009 and becoming a qualified teacher in 2017, she loved both the spiritual and physical aspects of the practice. Her teaching styles are Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga Nidra where she loves guiding student through a grounding expansive practice.

Claudiaโ€™s passion for movement and the physical kept growing and she became a big fan of Reformer Pilates and has recently become certified where she loves taking students through a strong, slow class.

Outside of her teaching, you will find her in walking around nature or by the ocean with a book.

Hannah Crees

Enjoying all things pilates, Hannah is continuously learning from her own practice to benefit her teaching, having gained a pre & post natal certification after having a baby of her own in 2024. Hannah has a passion for helping clients improve their strength, flexibility, stability, technique and posture. Guiding clients to embrace the complete mind body connection through good form and mindful movement.

Hannahโ€™s classes offer a supportive, fun and friendly experience. You should expect creative flows and sequences that keep you feeling challenged and engaged throughout, with lots of regressions and progressions provided to suit you and your body.
